PREPARED FOODS MENU INCLUDES OUR SIGNATURE DISHES AS WELL AS GLUTEN FREE AND VEGETARIAN MEALS.
We offer a wide range of meals that will feed 3 to 4 people. We also offer some side dishes to accompany the main entrée.
I will be changing some of the menu items weekly to take advantage of local fresh produce available as the seasons change.
INDIAN INSPIRED DISHES that I make frequently for my family will be Palak Paneer (cooked spinach with our homemade Indian cheese(Paneer) cooked in mild spices and yogurt), Also Allo Palak which is with potatoes instead of cheese. Chana Masala (chick peas cooked in mild sauce with tomatoes, chicken cooked in a slightly spicy curry.
CHICKEN POT PIE made with big chunks of roast chicken, organic carrots, potatoes, peas, celery layered in a rich cream sauce made with our fresh Goat milk & cream, then topped with French pastry. $15
VEGGIE POT PIE made with lot's of fresh organic veggies layered in a rich cream sauce covered with pastry $15
SPINACH/MUSHROOM QUICHE made with freshly sauteed mushrooms, spinach, cheeses & garlic nestled in a egg custard. $12
ITALIAN MARGARITA PIE layered with ricotta, fresh tomatoes, Parmesan, topped with fresh basil and mozzarella $12
STUFFED MANACOTTI fresh pasta sheets stuffed with our home made ricotta cheese filling, topped with our homemade marinara sauce. $15
ITALIAN MEAT LASAGNA fresh pasta sheets layered with cheese, sautéed local grass fed beef, onions, mushrooms and peppers topped with mozzarella, and our homemade marinara sauce. $15
SPINACH / KALE LASAGNA fresh pasta sheets layered with freshly sautéed spinach & kale, onions, cheese and topped with our homemade marinara and Béchamel sauces. $15
CHICKEN PARMESAN our signature homemade chicken cutlets smothered in our homemade marinara topped with parmesan and mozzarella cheese. $14
CANADIAN SHEPERD'S PIE ground beef sautéed w/ onions and garlic, topped with a layer of creamed corn and our homemade mashed potatoes on top. $15
BEEF BOURGIGNON braised in a rich red wine sauce with pearl onions, carrots and mushrooms and fresh Thyme. Served over egg noodles $15
SHITAKE GOAT CHEESE GALETTE pie with sautéed Shitake mushrooms, caramelized onions, fresh goat cheese, garlic and local berries and fresh rosemary. $12
ASSORTED FRESH FRUIT AND SAVORY PASTRIES these are made on Fridays for the weekend and vary with whatever fresh local fruit and veggie & herbs available. $5
SIDE DISHES change with the seasons. Examples are seasoned veggie rice, roasted sweet potatoes, fresh sautéed green beans with lemon and garlic, homemade potato salad, wild rice salad, fresh carrots sautéed in garlic infused olive oil and orange juice, summer squash stewed in a fresh tomato sauce and herbs. $5 to $8
